The Fleur de Lys Regular Doormat brings an elegant French Provincial influence to the entrance of your home. Its repeating black fleur-de-lys motif is printed across a warm natural coir surface, balancing decorative detail with the earthy texture of coconut fibre. Traditional without feeling overly formal, the design creates a welcoming first impression while providing a practical place for guests to wipe their shoes before stepping inside.
Place this doormat at a front door, back entrance or sheltered porch to add pattern and personality to an otherwise simple space. The classic black and natural palette coordinates easily with neutral exterior colours, black door hardware, aged planters and traditional architectural details. Its rectangular proportions suit many standard doorways, while the thick coir fibres provide excellent scraping properties to help catch everyday dirt and debris. As coir is naturally slightly absorbent, the mat will retain its appearance and perform at its best when positioned somewhere protected from prolonged or heavy rain.
Handcrafted by artisans from 100% natural coir, this substantial doormat combines traditional character with durable construction. The black dye penetrates deeply into the coconut fibres for a longer-lasting printed finish, while the 4 cm thickness gives the mat a satisfyingly robust feel underfoot. Shake or brush away loose dirt regularly, allow it to dry promptly if it becomes wet and prevent pets or birds from scratching at the fibres, as this may cause excessive shedding. With its distinctive French motif and hardworking natural surface, it is a considered finishing touch for a welcoming and well-kept entrance.
Complete your doorway with one of our practical door stops.

About Coir
Coir is a natural fibre obtained from the outer husk of coconuts. Its firm, coarse texture gives it excellent shoe-scraping properties, making it a practical material for entrance mats.
Coir Doormat Care
- Position the doormat in a sheltered entrance and protect it from excessive moisture.
- If the mat becomes wet, allow it to dry promptly and thoroughly.
- Regularly shake or brush away loose dirt and naturally shed fibres.
- Protect the coir fibres from scratching by pets and birds, as this can cause damage and excessive shedding.
