The Black Stripes Regular Coir Doormat brings crisp contemporary style to the practical business of keeping floors cleaner. Bold black stripes are printed across the natural coir surface, creating a confident design that feels smart without overwhelming your entrance. The warm tone and distinctive texture of coconut fibre soften the graphic pattern, making this an easy doormat to place alongside neutral, monochrome and modern exterior finishes.
Position it at your front door, back entrance or another frequently used doorway to give arriving guests a neat welcome. Its versatile rectangular shape suits many standard entrances, while the substantial coir pile helps brush dirt and debris from shoes before it reaches your floors. The simple striped design works particularly well with black door hardware, charcoal planters, natural baskets and pale exterior paintwork. Because coir naturally absorbs some moisture, the mat will perform best in a sheltered entrance where it will not become excessively wet and can dry quickly after exposure to rain.
Handcrafted by artisans from natural coconut fibre, this robust doormat combines useful scraping properties with the character of a natural material. The printed colour penetrates deeply into the coir fibres to create a longer-lasting finish, while the generous 4 cm thickness gives the mat a substantial presence at the door. Regularly shake or brush away loose dirt, allow the mat to dry promptly if it becomes wet and discourage pets or birds from scratching its surface, as this can cause excessive shedding. Practical, durable and visually uncomplicated, it offers an attractive finishing touch for an everyday entrance.

About Coir
Coir is a natural fibre obtained from the outer husk of coconuts. Its firm, coarse texture gives it excellent shoe-scraping properties, making it a practical material for entrance mats.
Coir Doormat Care
- Position the doormat in a sheltered entrance and protect it from excessive moisture.
- If the mat becomes wet, allow it to dry promptly and thoroughly.
- Regularly shake or brush away loose dirt and naturally shed fibres.
- Protect the coir fibres from scratching by pets and birds, as this can cause damage and excessive shedding.
