Hampton Stripe Welcome Door Mat

Set a welcoming tone before the door opens with the Hampton Stripe Welcome Door Mat. A natural coir centre carries a simple white WELCOME greeting, framed above and below by narrow navy-and-white stripes. The combination brings a fresh coastal feel to an everyday essential, with enough detail to make your entrance feel considered. Its rectangular shape and balanced design sit comfortably alongside classic doors, painted weatherboards and relaxed entryway styling, offering a small decorative touch that guests will notice as they arrive.

Woven from 100% coir, Hampton pairs its striped design with the character and texture of natural coconut fibres. Coir has great scraping properties, making it a practical material for a doormat as well as a lovely way to introduce natural texture at the threshold. Measuring approximately 75cm long, 45cm wide and 2.5cm thick, it gives the greeting and striped borders room to stand out. The warm natural centre softens the crisp navy-and-white palette, creating an easy connection between painted surfaces, timber details and woven accessories.

For a Hamptons-inspired entrance, pair it with a blue-grey door, a leafy plant and a woven basket nearby. It also works beautifully with white planters and simple navy accents, allowing the stripes to echo other details without overwhelming the space. Keep the surrounding arrangement uncluttered so the welcome message remains the focal point. To help preserve the coir's appearance, avoid excessive wetting and allow it to dry quickly if it gets wet. A little thoughtful placement and care will help you enjoy its welcoming design as part of your daily coming-and-going routine.
