Stretch a graceful garden-inspired welcome across a wider doorway with the Aurora Roses Long Doormat. Its elongated shape is decorated with roses growing over a warm natural coir background, creating a flowing botanical feature at the threshold. The design brings gentle country character to an entrance and works especially well with cottage-style homes, leafy verandahs and doors framed by planters. Natural colouring keeps the longer proportions grounded and easy to coordinate.

Measuring 120 cm long and 40 cm wide, this mat is shaped for double doors, French doors and broad entrances where a regular doormat may leave the space feeling unfinished. Its slim depth from front to back also suits thresholds where width is the main consideration. Position it in a sheltered entrance or beneath a covered porch so the firm coir fibres can help remove dirt from several pairs of shoes as family and guests come and go. The generous format creates a strong visual foundation while the rose motif softens the architectural lines around the doorway.

Artisans handweave the mat from 100% natural coconut fibre, producing a thick and durable surface with excellent shoe-scraping properties. The coloured design penetrates deeply into the coir fibres to support a lasting finish, while the 4 cm thickness gives the mat a substantial feel underfoot. Variations in texture, colour and appearance naturally arise from the handcrafted process and plant-based material, making each piece subtly individual. Practical enough for a busy household yet decorative enough to define the entrance, this long floral doormat brings useful natural texture and a welcoming sense of abundance to the door.

Keep your doorway organised with one of our practical door stops. This design is also available as a regular sized doormat.

About Coir

Coir is a natural fibre obtained from the outer husk of coconuts. Its firm, coarse texture gives it excellent shoe-scraping properties, making it a practical material for entrance mats.

Coir Doormat Care

Position the doormat in a sheltered entrance and protect it from excessive moisture.
If the mat becomes wet, dry promptly and thoroughly.
Regularly shake or brush away loose dirt and naturally shed fibres.
Protect the coir fibres from scratching by pets and birds, as this can cause damage and excessive shedding.
