Bush Blossom Cockatoo Doormat

A pair of white cockatoos brings familiar bushland character to the Bush Blossom Cockatoo Doormat. Perched together on a branch, the birds are outlined with soft mauve feather details and surrounded by deep green foliage, burgundy blossoms and small white botanical accents. The illustration sweeps across the left side and lower edge, leaving an open area of natural coir to balance the detail. It is a warm, welcoming design with a distinctly Australian feel, made for anyone who enjoys bringing a little of the garden into their home.

Place it at your entrance with a leafy plant nearby to pick up the greens in the design. Against a dark painted door, the white cockatoos stand out beautifully, while the natural background softens the overall arrangement. Timber accents and simple planters make easy companions for a relaxed country or cottage look. Keep surrounding accessories fairly understated so the birds remain the focus. The combination of wildlife and botanical detail also makes this a thoughtful gift for a keen gardener or someone who loves watching the birds that visit their neighbourhood.

Made from coir with a PVC backing, the mat pairs its decorative scene with the useful texture of natural coconut fibres. Coir has great scraping properties, giving this everyday entrance piece a practical purpose alongside its charm. To help preserve its appearance, avoid excessive wetting and allow it to dry quickly if it gets wet. Lift and move it carefully to protect the edges of the backing, and keep scratching claws away from the fibres. With its companionable cockatoos and rich leafy details, Bush Blossom adds a personal touch to each arrival home.
