The Stables Horse Door Mat

For those who feel most at home around horses, The Stables Horse Door Mat brings a familiar country scene to the doorstep. Dark brown horse silhouettes stand out against the warm natural background, with a mix of poses giving the design a lively, expressive feel. Some horses rear while others appear to trot across the mat, creating interest without the need for a slogan or border. It is an easy way to give your entrance a little equestrian personality and a warm connection to country life.

The simple brown and natural palette works comfortably with timber, brick and stone, as well as painted doors in deep green, cream or charcoal. Let the horses be the main decorative detail, then add greenery nearby for a fresh, welcoming arrangement. Inside the entryway, a woven basket or a row of useful hooks can continue the relaxed farmhouse feeling. The design suits country cottages and traditional homes, but it is equally at home wherever a horse lover wants to add a personal touch. It also makes a thoughtful housewarming gift for a riding friend.

Made from coir with a PVC backing, The Stables pairs the textured character of a familiar household essential with a distinctive animal motif. The fibres bring warmth to the overall look, while the dark silhouettes keep the design clear and easy to appreciate. Its rectangular shape gives the horses room to spread across the surface, making the pattern feel balanced and uncluttered. Whether you are refreshing your entrance or choosing a gift with someone's interests in mind, this mat brings a little of what they love to the everyday welcome home.
