Birds of a Feather Doormat

A cheerful flock gathers at your doorstep with the Birds of a Feather Doormat. Nine illustrated birds bring the natural coir background to life, with flashes of blue and red among softer brown, cream and black markings. Each bird faces a slightly different direction, creating a lively little scene full of raised tails, rounded bodies and character. It is a charming way to give an everyday essential a decorative role, especially if you enjoy noticing the birds that visit your own garden.

Style it beside a painted front door with a leafy plant nearby for an entrance that feels warm and welcoming. The natural background sits comfortably with timber and stone, while the birds add enough colour to brighten the space without overwhelming it. A green door picks up the garden-inspired mood beautifully, and a woven basket adds another layer of relaxed texture. The design suits country and cottage homes particularly well, but it is just as appealing wherever a small touch of nature feels at home. It also makes a thoughtful gift for someone who loves birds and gardening.

Made from coir with a PVC backing, this rectangular doormat pairs its detailed design with a useful natural surface. Coir fibres come from coconut husks and have great scraping properties, making them well suited to a doormat's everyday job. To help preserve its appearance, avoid excessive wetting and allow it to dry quickly if it gets wet. Handle the backing carefully when lifting or moving the mat, and protect the fibres from scratching. With its colourful flock and warm texture, Birds of a Feather makes the threshold feel a little more personal.
