Simple stripes can make an entrance feel beautifully considered. The Malleson White Stripe Long Door Mat pairs groups of narrow white lines with a warm natural background, creating a fresh look that is easy to work into your home. The repeated stripe pattern gives the design a sense of order without making it feel formal, while the long rectangular shape sits neatly across a wider doorway. With no lettering or decorative motif, it lets the combination of colour, texture and proportion do the work.

Place Malleson at a suitably sized entrance or in front of French doors, taking a moment to check the available floor space and door clearance. Its white stripes pick up painted door frames and light walls, while the natural coir tones work comfortably alongside timber. For a relaxed Hamptons or coastal look, add a favourite planter nearby and keep the surrounding space uncluttered. The neutral palette also gives you freedom to change flowers, greenery or other accessories through the seasons. It is a useful starting point when you want the doorway to feel welcoming and connected to the rooms beyond.

Made from coir with a PVC backing, Malleson combines decorative simplicity with the natural scraping properties of coconut fibres. The textured surface brings warmth to the crisp stripe design and gives an everyday essential a little more character. Avoid excessive wetting, allow the mat to dry quickly if it gets wet and handle it carefully when moving it. Whether your home leans towards coastal ease or a more classic style, Malleson offers a straightforward way to finish the entrance with a pattern that feels familiar and inviting.

40 cm wide
2 cm thick
Made from coir with a PVC backing
Long rectangular shape
Grouped white stripes on a natural-coloured background

Note that measurements are approximate as minor variations can occur during production.

Made from natural coir fibres, which are the hair on the outside of coconuts. Coir has great scraping properties and is naturally slightly absorbent of water - which makes it a great material for a doormat!

Care instructions

Because coir naturally absorbs water, to ensure the best performance and long-lasting beauty of your doormat, please:

Make sure that it does not get excessively wet.
Let it dry quickly if it does get wet.
Be aware that cats and birds scratching the coir fibres of the mat can damage it and lead to excessive shedding.
Take care when lifting and moving PVC-backed doormats to reduce the risk of small tears occurring at the edge of the mat.
