The Aurora Roses Coir Doormat brings the romance of a cottage garden right to your doorstep. A trailing rose design grows across the warm natural coir background, turning an everyday entrance essential into a decorative feature. The botanical motif lends itself beautifully to country, cottage and garden-inspired homes, while the neutral base keeps the overall effect relaxed and easy to coordinate with painted doors, natural wood and leafy porch plants.

Its classic 75 cm by 45 cm proportions make it a practical choice for a standard front or back doorway. Place the mat beneath a covered porch or within a sheltered entrance, where its firm, coarse fibres can help scrape dirt from shoes before it travels indoors. At 4 cm thick, it has a substantial, luxurious feel underfoot and enough visual presence to define the threshold. Style it alongside a planter filled with seasonal greenery, a simple door wreath or a favourite entrance bench to create a welcoming first impression.

Handwoven by artisans from 100% natural coconut fibre, this doormat combines the useful qualities of coir with the individual character of a handcrafted piece. The coloured design penetrates deeply into the fibres for a lasting finish, while the naturally robust texture provides excellent shoe-scraping performance. Small differences in texture, colour and appearance are expected in natural, handcrafted products and give each mat its own character. Decorative yet hardworking, the Aurora Roses Doormat is a thoughtful way to introduce floral detail at the door while helping to keep the entrance tidy through everyday comings and goings.

About Coir

Coir is a natural fibre obtained from the outer husk of coconuts. Its firm, coarse texture gives it excellent shoe-scraping properties, making it a practical material for entrance mats.

Coir Doormat Care

Position the doormat in a sheltered entrance and protect it from excessive moisture.
If the mat becomes wet, dry promptly and thoroughly.
Regularly shake or brush away loose dirt and naturally shed fibres.
Protect the coir fibres from scratching by pets and birds, as this can cause damage and excessive shedding.
