The Marriott Half Round Rubber and Coir Doormat brings an elegant sense of shape and pattern to the entrance of your home. Its fan design is carved through the natural coir to create radiating lines reminiscent of warm sunrays, while a rubber border frames the curved silhouette. The result is a decorative mat that feels lighter and more graceful than a conventional rectangle while remaining practical for everyday use.
The half-round shape sits neatly against the base of a front door, back entrance or sheltered porch, making it especially useful where you want to soften strong architectural lines. Its combination of natural coconut fibre and structured rubber coordinates readily with neutral stone, painted weatherboards, traditional brickwork and dark door hardware. Coir fibres provide excellent scraping properties to help catch dry dirt and debris from shoes, while the slimmer profile suits many standard doorways. A waterproof rubber backing supports the mat and helps protect the surface beneath it, although the absorbent coir should still be sheltered from prolonged rain.
Made from rubber and natural coconut fibre, this doormat combines useful durability with a distinctive textural design. Its approximately 3 cm thickness gives the mat a substantial feel without the greater height of a traditional thick coir mat. To keep it looking its best, shake or brush away loose dirt, allow the coir to dry promptly if it becomes wet and discourage cats or birds from scratching the fibres, as this may lead to excessive shedding. With its curved profile and carefully arranged fan pattern, the Marriott Doormat provides a considered finish for an entrance while helping protect the floors beyond it.

About Coir
Coir is a natural fibre obtained from the outer husk of coconuts. Its firm, coarse texture gives it excellent shoe-scraping properties, making it a practical material for entrance mats.
Coir Doormat Care
- Position the doormat in a sheltered entrance and protect it from excessive moisture.
- If the mat becomes wet, allow it to dry promptly and thoroughly.
- Regularly shake or brush away loose dirt and naturally shed fibres.
- Protect the coir fibres from scratching by pets and birds, as this can cause damage and excessive shedding.
