Give your entrance a polished, welcoming finish with the Princess Rubber & Coir Doormat. Combining the natural texture of coir with an elegant rubber design, this regular-sized mat brings decorative detail to the doorstep while helping to keep everyday dirt outside. Its refined pattern makes an attractive first impression, while the warm coir tones and contrasting rubber suit classic, traditional and contemporary entrances alike.

Natural coco fibres create a firm, coarse surface with excellent scraping properties, helping to brush grit and debris from shoes before it reaches your floors. A waterproof rubber backing supports the mat and provides a practical foundation at the entrance. At approximately 3cm thick, the Princess has a slimmer profile than many standard doormats, making it a useful choice where a lower mat is preferred. The generous 75 x 45cm rectangular shape offers comfortable coverage for a regular doorway without overwhelming a compact porch or entry.

Place this handcrafted doormat at a sheltered front door, back door or covered veranda to add texture and everyday function. The natural fibres will gently shed during use, which is characteristic of coir, and simple regular care will help maintain its appearance. Shake or brush away loose dirt as needed, protect the mat from excessive moisture and allow it to dry promptly and thoroughly if wet. Because each piece is handmade from natural materials, small variations in texture, colour and appearance give every mat its own individual character.

Complete a practical and inviting entrance with our doorstops, selected to complement your doorway with useful decorative detail.

About Coir

Coir is a natural fibre obtained from the outer husk of coconuts. Its firm, coarse texture gives it excellent shoe-scraping properties, making it a practical material for entrance mats.

Coir Doormat Care

Position the doormat in a sheltered entrance and protect it from excessive moisture.
If the mat becomes wet, dry promptly and thoroughly.
Regularly shake or brush away loose dirt and naturally shed fibres.
Protect the coir fibres from scratching by pets and birds, as this can cause damage and excessive shedding.
