Large Willy Wagtail Doormat - 90x55cm

Bring a touch of Australian birdlife to the doorstep with the Large Willy Wagtail Doormat. A black silhouette of the familiar native bird rests in one corner of the natural coir surface, creating a distinctive detail without crowding the design. The contrast is crisp and easy to appreciate from a distance, while the warm, earthy background works comfortably with a wide range of entrance colours and materials.

The generous 90 cm length makes this mat a natural choice for a broader doorway or spacious sheltered entry. Style it outside a country home, suburban front door or covered verandah where the lively Willy Wagtail motif can greet visitors as they arrive. Its understated composition gives the bird plenty of character while keeping the overall look versatile and uncluttered. For birdwatchers, nature lovers or anyone fond of this spirited Australian visitor, it offers a thoughtful way to bring a familiar garden presence closer to home.

Natural coir has a firm, coarse texture that helps brush loose dirt from footwear before it travels indoors, and the PVC backing supports the mat on an appropriate flat surface. Because coir can absorb moisture, place the doormat in a sheltered location and dry it promptly and thoroughly whenever it becomes wet. Regular shaking or brushing will clear away dirt and fibres naturally released during use. Pets and birds should also be discouraged from scratching the surface, as this may cause damage and excessive shedding. Combining practical coverage with a recognisable native-bird motif, this large doormat makes an entrance feel considered, welcoming and connected to the outdoors.
