The Fleur de Lys Long Doormat gives a wide entrance a confident sense of symmetry and traditional character. Three black fleur de lys motifs are arranged across the natural coir surface and framed by a coordinating black border. The restrained palette allows the distinctive French emblem to take centre stage, creating a doorway feature that feels decorative, refined and easy to coordinate with the rest of the home.
Its generous 120 cm length is designed to complement double doors, French doors and broad verandah entrances where a regular mat may appear out of proportion. Style it with black door hardware, classic lanterns or clipped greenery to reinforce the formal lines of the design. The fleur de lys motif is especially at home in French Provincial and traditional country settings, while the simple combination of black and natural coir also suits neutral exterior palettes. The defined border gives the mat a tailored appearance and helps visually anchor a larger doorway.
Handcrafted by artisans from 100% natural coir fibres, this substantial doormat has the textured scraping surface needed at an everyday entrance. The printed colour penetrates deeply into the fibres for a lasting finish, while the 4 cm thickness gives the mat a solid and purposeful presence. As coir naturally absorbs some moisture, the mat should be positioned in a sheltered area, protected from excessive rain and allowed to dry promptly if it becomes wet. Practical in its proportions and distinctive in its detailing, this doormat makes a considered finishing touch for an entrance with classic style.
Complete the space with one of our useful and decorative door stops.
