$109.95
Make a confident first impression with the XL Porter Nautical Striped Doormat. Designed for a generous entrance, this extra-large mat combines a natural coir background with smart black and white stripes. The structured pattern has a crisp nautical quality that feels equally at home beside a coastal residence or a classically styled Hamptons doorway. Its substantial proportions give the design presence and help it sit comfortably across wider doors.
Measuring 120cm long and 60cm wide, the Porter is well suited to double doors, broad entryways and spacious covered porches. The balanced stripe arrangement brings definition to an entrance without relying on lettering or a decorative motif, making it easy to coordinate with different door colours and exterior finishes. Pair it with black hardware for a tailored look, or use it against white weatherboards and natural wood to create a lighter coastal setting. Its 3cm depth adds a substantial profile while the coarse coir surface provides effective shoe-scraping texture.
Handwoven from natural coconut fibres, this doormat has the characteristic texture and individual variation of coir. Position it in a sheltered entrance where it will be protected from excessive moisture, and allow it to dry promptly and thoroughly if it becomes wet. Regularly shaking or brushing away loose dirt and naturally shed fibres will help maintain its appearance. With its practical construction, generous size and enduring striped design, the Porter brings together function and a considered decorative finish for an entrance that deserves more than an ordinary mat.
Complete your entrance with coordinating pieces from our collection of porch and gate decor.

About Coir
Coir is a natural fibre obtained from the outer husk of coconuts. Its firm, coarse texture gives it excellent shoe-scraping properties, making it a practical material for entrance mats.
Coir Doormat Care
- Position the doormat in a sheltered entrance and protect it from excessive moisture.
- If the mat becomes wet, dry promptly and thoroughly.
- Regularly shake or brush away loose dirt and naturally shed fibres.
- Protect the coir fibres from scratching by pets and birds, as this can cause damage and excessive shedding.
