Curate an elegant welcome with the Laurel Wreath Large Doormat, a generously proportioned entrance mat combining classical botanical detail with practical everyday function. A sweeping black laurel wreath stands out against the warm, natural tone of the coir, giving the design a timeless simplicity that complements traditional, country, French Provincial and contemporary homes. Measuring 90 x 60 cm, it offers excellent coverage for a substantial front door, broad porch or busy family entrance.

The firm, coarse coir surface helps scrape loose dirt and debris from shoes before it can be carried indoors, while the PVC backing supports the mat and helps keep it positioned on a suitable level surface. Its understated black and natural palette coordinates effortlessly with painted doors, stone paving, wood decking and classic exterior hardware. Position it in a sheltered entrance where the laurel motif can form a welcoming focal point while remaining protected from excessive moisture.

Made from natural coconut fibres, coir brings distinctive texture and subtle variations to every mat. Some loose fibres and natural shedding should be expected, particularly when the doormat is new. Regular shaking or brushing will remove collected dirt and help maintain its appearance. Take care when lifting or repositioning the mat, as pulling or flexing the edge may damage its vinyl backing. With its useful larger size, botanical design and hardworking surface, this doormat offers an inviting finishing touch for an entrance that deserves more than a standard-sized mat.

About Coir

Coir is a natural fibre obtained from the outer husk of coconuts. Its firm, coarse texture gives it excellent shoe-scraping properties, making it a practical material for entrance mats.

Coir Doormat Care

Position the doormat in a sheltered entrance and protect it from excessive moisture.
If the mat becomes wet, dry promptly and thoroughly.
Regularly shake or brush away loose dirt and naturally shed fibres.
Protect the coir fibres from scratching by pets and birds, as this can cause damage and excessive shedding.
