Create a stately welcome at a generous doorway with the Crest Large Doormat. A classic black crest motif stands out against the warm natural coir, giving the entrance a sense of structure and traditional character. Its substantial rectangular proportions suit a broad front door or double-door setting, while the restrained two-tone palette coordinates easily with painted, wooden and stone entryways. The design feels decorative and refined without losing the honest, tactile appeal of natural fibre.

At 106 cm long and 66 cm wide, this is a commanding mat designed to give larger entrances the visual balance they need. Place it beneath a covered porch or within another sheltered entrance where the firm coir fibres can help scrape dirt from footwear before it reaches the home. Its approximately 5 cm thickness creates a luxurious, weighty presence underfoot, and the strong black motif adds definition from a distance. Pair it with symmetrical pots, an entrance bench or simple greenery for a welcoming arrangement with timeless appeal.

Handwoven by artisans from 100% natural coconut fibre, the mat celebrates both practical craftsmanship and the individual character of its material. Coir has a naturally coarse texture with excellent shoe-scraping properties, making it particularly well suited to entrance mats. The black dye penetrates deeply into the fibres to support a lasting decorative finish. Because this is a handcrafted product made from natural fibres, small differences in texture, colour and appearance are expected. Generously scaled, durable and classically detailed, the Crest Large Doormat brings an assured finishing touch to the threshold while working hard through everyday arrivals and departures.

About Coir

Coir is a natural fibre obtained from the outer husk of coconuts. Its firm, coarse texture gives it excellent shoe-scraping properties, making it a practical material for entrance mats.

Coir Doormat Care

Position the doormat in a sheltered entrance and protect it from excessive moisture.
If the mat becomes wet, dry promptly and thoroughly.
Regularly shake or brush away loose dirt and naturally shed fibres.
Protect the coir fibres from scratching by pets and birds, as this can cause damage and excessive shedding.
