Bertie the Crow Cast Iron Garden Bird Decor

Bertie looks as though he has paused for a moment to see what you are doing in the garden. With his head turned to one side, neatly layered wing feathers and long tail, this cast iron crow brings a little personality to the greenery. His dark brown colouring sits comfortably against leafy plants and pale garden walls, while the detail across his chest gives you something to appreciate up close. He is a lovely choice for anyone who enjoys the character of birds in their outdoor spaces.

Place Bertie on a low garden wall beside a favourite pot, or give him a spot on a verandah table where his curious expression can be enjoyed as you pass. A backdrop of clipped greenery makes his outline easy to see, while a loose arrangement of cottage plants creates a more relaxed setting. Keep the surrounding styling simple - one planter and a little breathing room are enough to let him stand out. His modest proportions make him an appealing finishing touch for a small courtyard as well as a country garden.

Made from cast iron, Bertie combines a familiar bird shape with a richly textured surface. The defined feathers, little feet and gently rounded body give this garden ornament its individual character without needing bright colours or elaborate styling. He works naturally with country, cottage and rustic surroundings, adding a playful detail to an otherwise quiet corner. For a friend who loves pottering among their plants, he also makes a thoughtful gift - a small garden companion with plenty of personality.
