St John Rooster Wall Bell

Give visitors a warm country welcome with the St John Rooster Wall Bell. Cast in iron and finished in rustic dark brown, it brings the familiar character of a farmyard rooster to an entrance while offering a practical way to announce an arrival. The detailed bird, traditional bell shape and curling bracket create a piece that feels collected over time rather than newly added, making it an appealing feature for homes with a relaxed rural spirit.

Mount it beside the front or back door, on a sheltered porch, or near a garden gate where its sculptural silhouette can be appreciated. The rooster motif suits country, farmhouse and French Country settings, while the deep brown finish sits naturally alongside stone, weathered wood, painted brick and leafy planting. A long pull cord hangs below the bell, allowing guests or family members to ring it comfortably. It can also bring an old-fashioned touch to a potting area, garden shed or courtyard entrance.

The wall bell is made from cast iron, giving the decorative details and scrollwork bracket a substantial, textured appearance. Pre-drilled mounting holes are provided in the wall plate, although suitable screws will need to be selected separately for the installation surface. Its compact proportions make it distinctive without overwhelming a smaller entry. For outdoor display, apply and maintain a suitable rust-protection treatment to help preserve the cast iron finish. With its useful function and enduring rooster design, this wall bell adds personality and a welcoming note to everyday arrivals.
