Bring a playful note to the doorstep with the Wipe Your Paws Coir Doormat. The natural coir ground is printed with the words “Wipe your paws” in relaxed black handwritten-style lettering, creating a warm welcome with a sense of humour. Its neutral colouring sits easily alongside painted doors, wooden decking, brick and stone, while the pet-inspired message gives the entrance personality without overwhelming the setting. Both decorative and useful, it makes an appealing choice for busy homes shared with much-loved four-legged family members.

At 75cm long and 45cm wide, this generously proportioned regular doormat offers ample space for everyday arrivals. The substantial 4cm depth creates a thick, luxurious feel underfoot, and the firm coir surface helps scrape dirt and debris from shoes before they cross the threshold. Position it at a sheltered front or back entrance where it can serve as both a practical barrier and an inviting finishing touch. The simple rectangular shape also makes it easy to place neatly against most standard doorways.

Handwoven by artisans from 100% natural coir, this doormat celebrates the sturdy, coarse fibres obtained from coconut husks. The black dye penetrates deeply into the fibres for a lasting printed finish, while the handcrafted construction gives each mat its own subtle character. Shake or brush away loose dirt and naturally shed fibres as needed, protect the mat from excessive moisture and scratching by pets or birds, and allow it to dry promptly and thoroughly if it becomes wet.

About Coir

Coir is a natural fibre obtained from the outer husk of coconuts. Its firm, coarse texture gives it excellent shoe-scraping properties, making it a practical material for entrance mats.

Coir Doormat Care

Position the doormat in a sheltered entrance and protect it from excessive moisture.
If the mat becomes wet, dry promptly and thoroughly.
Regularly shake or brush away loose dirt and naturally shed fibres.
Protect the coir fibres from scratching by pets and birds, as this can cause damage and excessive shedding.
