Short Elstead Grey Candle Holder

Small decorative pieces can bring a lovely sense of character to a room, especially when they have a little texture and an interesting shape. The Short Elstead Grey Candle Holder combines a softly weathered appearance with rounded detailing and a traditional square base. Its muted grey colour feels relaxed beside natural timber and cream fabrics, while the classic profile brings a hint of French Provincial style. It is an easy piece to work into a country home, a cosy cottage or a living room filled with simple, neutral furnishings.

Style it with an ivory pillar candle on a coffee table, giving it a little space so the curves and aged finish can be appreciated. On a sideboard or console, it makes a charming companion to a framed photograph or a simple ceramic bowl. You could also bring it into a dining table arrangement with natural linen for a relaxed, welcoming look. For a coordinated display, pair it with the taller Elstead candle holder as shown. Their different heights add variety while the matching shapes keep the arrangement feeling considered. A small grouping like this can be enough to finish a table without filling every spare space.

Made from cement, the Elstead has a matt, textured appearance with pale markings that pick out its decorative contours. The combination of a round candle dish and stepped base gives this shorter design plenty of detail, even when displayed on its own. Its understated colour works with changing seasonal accents, from soft greens to warm creams and browns. Keep it close to your favourite everyday pieces for a gentle touch of character that feels comfortably at home.
