The Oval Plaited Jute Mat celebrates the warmth and character of natural fibres through its generously textured design. Lengths of jute have been plaited and wound into an oval form, creating gently curved bands that emphasise the material’s organic colour and tactile surface. The result is an understated indoor mat that brings definition to an entrance while retaining the relaxed, welcoming quality associated with natural home furnishings.

Position it just inside a front or side door to soften the transition into your home, or use it to add texture to a hallway that feels a little bare. Its oval silhouette provides a pleasing alternative to traditional rectangular mats and introduces gentle curves alongside straight architectural lines. The natural colouring works easily with white walls, warm wood, stone floors and woven accessories, making the mat particularly suited to country, coastal and relaxed contemporary interiors.

Measuring 90 cm by 60 cm, the mat offers practical coverage while remaining compact enough for everyday entryways. Its substantial 2 cm profile allows the plaited construction to become a visible part of the design, giving the floor a distinct layer of texture without relying on printed pattern or strong colour. Natural variation within the jute contributes to its individual character and makes each mat feel comfortably at home among other tactile materials. Simple, useful and thoughtfully shaped, it provides a grounded finishing touch that helps an entrance feel considered from the moment you step inside.

Complete your entrance with one of our practical and decorative door stops.
