Maltese Dog Doormat - 75x45cm

Have a much-loved breed greet visitors before you even open the door. The Maltese Dog Doormat features a crisp black silhouette positioned in one corner of its warm natural coir surface, creating an affectionate detail that feels personal without dominating the entrance. Its balanced two-tone design is simple enough to coordinate with contemporary, classic or relaxed country exteriors.

Sized for a standard doorway, this mat brings character to a sheltered front entrance, back door or covered verandah. The recognisable Maltese profile offers a quiet nod to the family dog and makes the doorstep feel immediately more individual. Pair it with neutral planters, black door hardware or other understated porch accessories to echo its natural and black palette. It is also a thoughtful housewarming choice for Maltese owners who enjoy including their pets in the personality of their home.

Firm, coarse coir fibres help scrape loose dirt from shoes before it can be carried across indoor floors, while the PVC backing supports the mat on a suitable flat surface. Position it in a sheltered entrance where it will be protected from excessive moisture, and dry it promptly and thoroughly if it becomes wet. Shaking or brushing the surface regularly will remove loose dirt and fibres naturally shed by coir. Pets and birds should be prevented from scratching the fibres, as this can damage the surface and cause excessive shedding. Practical for daily arrivals yet distinctive in its detail, this Maltese doormat gives a familiar doorway a friendly finishing touch.
