Hartwell Rustic Wood Board

Bring the warmth of reclaimed wood into your kitchen with the Hartwell Rustic Wood Board. Its generous rectangular shape, rounded shoulders and extended paddle handle create a simple silhouette with plenty of character. Rich brown tones sit alongside visible grain, knots and weathered markings, giving the surface a naturally varied appearance. The rope loop threaded through the handle adds another layer of texture, complementing the wood without distracting from its individual details. It is an inviting choice for a kitchen that feels comfortable, personal and thoughtfully put together.

Style the Hartwell upright against a splashback to introduce height behind smaller accessories, or position it on a sideboard as part of a relaxed country-inspired arrangement. Its darker colouring provides a beautiful contrast to white ceramics, pale walls and fresh greenery, while the broad wooden surface gives the eye somewhere to rest among finer details. Try pairing it with a ceramic jug, a small stack of cookbooks and a woven utensil holder. Keeping a little space around the handle allows its distinctive outline and rope detail to become part of the display.

For a different look, lay the board flat and use it as a decorative base beneath a small tray of condiment bottles or a favourite kitchen ornament. This brings separate pieces together and adds warmth beneath smooth ceramic or glass finishes. Made from reclaimed wood, each board has its own grain, texture and markings, so no two will look exactly alike. Enjoy those differences as part of its rustic appeal, whether you favour a farmhouse kitchen, French country accents or a more understated arrangement of natural materials.

Complete the look with our condiment sets for layered kitchen bench styling.
