Seagrass is one of several very popular natural fibres used for weaving basketware. It is biodegradable and when dried it makes a sturdy flexible twisted rope that has been popular for centuries.

Seagrass baskets can lose shape in transit from the factory or through use in your home. To reshape them, simply steam or lightly wet the basket and reshape with your hands. Then place in the sun or a warm place to dry quickly. This can be done whenever needed throughout the life of the basket.
