Set 3 Charcoal Filter Replacements - Darley Compost Bin

Keep your kitchen composting routine fresh and pleasant with this set of three charcoal replacement filters. Designed specifically for the Darley Ceramic Compost Bin, each round filter sits neatly inside the lid to help manage the everyday odours produced by food scraps. The practical three-pack ensures you have replacement filters ready when needed, making it easier to maintain effective odour control throughout the year.

Each filter combines cotton with activated charcoal, a highly absorbent material that traps and neutralises unwanted smells at their source. Replacing the filter periodically helps preserve airflow through the compost bin lid and supports reliable performance. Depending on use and conditions, each filter lasts approximately two to three months. Installation is simple: remove the used filter and position a fresh one inside the designated section of the Darley compost bin lid.

To help each filter perform effectively, keep it dry and avoid allowing wet food scraps or condensation to come into direct contact with it. Allow the compost bin and lid to dry completely after washing before returning the filter. Avoid overfilling the bin, as contents pressing against the underside of the lid may introduce moisture and reduce airflow. For particularly wet scraps, drain excess liquid or place a small amount of paper towel inside the bin before adding the contents.
