Outstanding value

Give your favourite books a handsome finishing touch with the Set 2 Waverley Horse Bookends. Shaped as a pair of finely detailed horse heads, these distinctive bookends bring an equestrian influence and a sense of established character to the home. Their dark brown cast iron construction has a naturally substantial presence, while the textured surface highlights the horses’ expressive features, flowing manes and sculptural form.

Vintage horse bookends

Position the pair at either end of a book collection on a living room shelf, study bookcase or home office desk. They are equally at home among classic novels, cookbooks or beautifully bound reference books, keeping everything neatly upright while adding decoration of their own. Style them with framed artwork, collected objects and greenery to create a thoughtful layered display. Their traditional subject and understated colouring work particularly well in country, rustic and French country interiors.

Made from cast iron, the Waverley bookends have the weight and stability needed to support a carefully curated row of books. The coordinating design creates a balanced appearance whether the two pieces are placed close together or used at opposite ends of a longer shelf. Practical without feeling purely utilitarian, this set offers an easy way to introduce equestrian character into everyday spaces. It would make a considered addition to a study, reading corner or living room and a thoughtful gift for a horse enthusiast, keen reader or anyone who enjoys traditional decorative details.
