Hugo Dog Butter Dish

Give a kitchen essential a playful personality with the Hugo Dog Butter Dish. Its glossy white porcelain cover is decorated with a relaxed blue check, while a little brown dachshund sits proudly on top in a spotted blue jumper with warm coral trim. The characterful dog doubles as an easy-to-grasp handle, turning an everyday butter dish into a cheerful feature for the kitchen bench or breakfast table.

The fresh blue and white palette works naturally with country, cottage and modern farmhouse interiors, bringing colour to the room without feeling overly formal. Pair it with timber boards, blue and white ceramics or simple table linen for an inviting breakfast setting. The generous rectangular shape provides a covered place to keep butter neatly presented, while the raised edge around the base helps the lid sit securely. Its dachshund detail also makes it a thoughtful choice for dog lovers, whether given as a housewarming present or added to a collection of animal-themed kitchenware.

Designed in Australia and made from high-fired porcelain, the Hugo Dog Butter Dish combines its decorative character with practical everyday care. The hand-painted animal topper gives the piece an individual touch, while the glazed surface can be placed in the dishwasher after use. It is also microwave safe when required. The separate base and fitted cover make serving straightforward, and the sculpted dog provides a convenient way to lift the lid. Colourful, useful and full of expression, this butter dish is designed to make everyday breakfasts feel a little more personal.
